Love this concept - open church in nature, no roof

Love this concept - open church in nature, no roof, just a couple of walls with windows, #ryakyrkoruin .

I'm generally not much for churches to be fair- other than for the silence, calm and architecture they usually hold, but this was something else. Completely amazed, loved it!

Imagine having/attending a baptism/christening or wedding fully in nature, it was especially beautiful in this season completely surrounded with autumn colors!

Can highly recommend to visit during this season.

Felt very viking/medieval to be in this environment. So cool.

Mind potential rainfall though, since no overhead coverage for that :P

The place also seemed to have an interesting history where the roof apparently was sold off.

Love how they had simply added some grass-like plants around to make it feel like the actual beach :D Personally think the combo made a huuge difference.

I think this is a wonderful, great idea displayed at #sofieroslott #sofieroslottsträdgård Garden days 2024. I would love to have something like this in a future #garden. Imagine having a slice of all the best barefoot sensations right in front of you easily available to enjoy for some zen in everyday life whenever you want. Simply Love it :D Inspiring truly. So fun and so simple, yet, for me at least, never before crossed my mind to do it like this ^^ Hats off to the creator/designer.
